A 7-week yoga therapy class sponsored by Aspen Strong  called  “Overcome”. This is a yoga therapy program designed to educate you  on the causes and impact of anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD, and other forms of personal suffering.  The program teachings self-regulation tools and yogic techniques focused on developing a  daily practice suited to the individual. In the long run the overall goal is building resiliency. Individuals who enroll will be guided though some well researched videos to help understand how to reprogram dysregulation; REactions; the process of creating calm, clarity, and choices for themselves; and inner power and connection to themselves. Each session will include yogic practices to help provide the individual with a toolbox of skills to add in over time, slowly. Tracking charts teach self-regulation and, an online program is available for students to register in for follow up and each class will have follow up materials and suggested assignments. Students will be provided with a Workbook that is utilized throughout the course to help participants to follow along with creating new patterns and skill sets for themselves. Traditional yoga asanas, breathwork, and meditation will be taught in class. Students will be able to pick and choose what works for them.
 
If you are interested in the next session, registration is now open for students.  Class will begin Wednesday, March 23 at 6pm running until 7:30pm. The final class will be  May 4, 2022. We are offering class in-person or via zoom. To attend a waiver must be signed in advance and a provided some background information would be appreciated.  Please compete the below form by no later then March 20, 2022. Kindly note that to attend in person proof of vaccine and boaster will be required in advance, in addition to waiver. Zoom attendance can be made available for those not vaccinated. Attendance is urged at all sessions as the group dynamics are an important aspect to the class.

Welcome to the Overcome program, an evidence-based Yoga Therapy protocol that will guide you through a self-healing process you can utilize for the rest of your life. This program will teach you the science behind how your brain works when your resilience feels low, you experience anxiety, depression, or any manifestations of stress or unresolved trauma. Each individual has their own unique set of strengths and challenges. Through this course you will learn how to develop awareness so that you can self-monitor and apply yogic practices on a daily basis to manage difficult moments.
