This is a small closed therapy group for adults who are high functioning and interested in using their body as a tool to explore their emotions. Somatic yoga therapy is a powerful way to learn and practice many coping skills and connect deeply with yourself. Each week there is a theme that builds on the previous week.
Whether a person’s emotions are, overwhelming and intense, they’re numbing and disconnected, or they simply want to strengthen their understanding of their emotional/intuitive body, this group will help them get in touch with the innate wisdom we all have with in ourself.
No yoga experience is needed as the “somatic yoga” is different than traditional yoga taught in studios. All you need is an open mind and heart.
